First leg of my journey to join the others in the Whitehill Farm Aeroclub successfully completed, 82 miles down through Hertfordshire, round the M25, over the Thames at Tilbury to land at Headcorn in Kent.
Fantastic flight down, the air was silky smooth, no-one else was around and it was great to fly over all the commuter traffic inching their way into the city - ha, I'm on holiday!
