There was a bit of cloud along the coast so I could only coast out at 3000 feet, but once away from the cloud I was able to climb up higher to 4000.
An absolutely lovely crossing, so clear that I could see both coastlines at the same time.
This is coming towards Cap Griz Nez in France.
